The Caveat entered by Richard Hickman, Edwin Hickman and Dennet Abney for Stopping Patents sued out by Robert Adams on two serverall surveys for 400 acres of Land each lying on the Branches of Licking Hole Creek in the County of Goochland, is Continued for the Petitioners to make appear that the said survey was made upon entrys posterior to theirs and within the bounds described in their said entry.

In my blog of November 16, you will find a Deed dated September 21, 1736 from Robert Adams to Thomas Sanders for 400 acres on Licking Hole Creek by patent to Adams.

In my November 10, 2010 blog I listed Robert Adams children.  I listed Judith Adams Clark born 1716.  I will now add Judith Adams Clark born October, 1726 and married to Micajah Clark.
