For the next few days I will be sending information I have collected about Robert Adams.  Then I will try to make some sense out of it.  I hope that you as a reader can garner some new information from my blog.

Charles Lynch Adams born 1752 died April 21, 1804 married about 1781 Elizabeth daughter of Thomas Tunstall.
Found in Pittsylvania County Deeds 1791-1794 compiled by T.L.C. Genealogy the following:
page 165 March 10, 1792,  William Ward, Samuel Tompkins, Booker Smith, Charles Lynch Adams, Frederick Shelton and John Stockton of Pittsylvania County gave bond of 1000 pounds on March 19, 1792, to insure that said William Ward, Sheriff of Pittsylvania County, truly collects all officers fees and dues and account for the same.  Recorded March 19, 1791
page 166 William Ward, Samuel Tompkins, Booker Smith, John Shackleford, John Ward, Henry Ward, Charles Walding, John Smith, Charles Lynch Adams, Frederick Shelton and John Stockton of Pittsylvania County gave bond of 500 pounds on March 19, 1792, to insure that said William Ward, Sheriff of Pittsylvania County, truly executes the office of Sheriff.  Recorded March 19, 1792.



Capt. Robert Adams jr.  died about 1790 Married Mary daughter of Joel Terrell and his wife Anna Lewis

James Adams, Colonel of the County Militia married Mary Irvine on March 4, 1776.

Mildred Adams, married about 1770 to William Ward son of Major John Ward and Ann Chiles Ward

Elizabeth Adams died about 1834 married about april 1785 to Captain James Dearing

Sarah Adams married about October 20, 1777 to Charles Lynch son of Colonel Charles Lynch

Penelope Adams married about August 15, 1778 to John Shackleford

Mourning Adams married about October 20, 1777 to John McGehee

Margaret Adams married about June 5, 1781 to John Rice Smith who built "Otterbourne".
